The Summer I Turned Pretty Seacon 2 (2023) Then, Laurel shows up to Cousins and she is mad. She and Belly get into a pretty big mother-daughter fight and it ends with Laurel slapping Belly. Yikes! Later, Steven reconciles the situation by explaining how Belly has helped the Fisher brothers to his mother. Laurel apologizes to Belly and all is forgiven. This moment kind of sets a tone for the rest of the episode. Conrad and Jeremiah have a touching moment where they (kind of) settle their sibling dispute...until Belly enters the equation again! The three head to Brown so Conrad can take his final, and Jeremiah and Belly have a moment together while they kill time. Sadly, I think "killing time" is the theme for Jeremiah and Belly's relationship.
